Academic vs. Sport Competitions (and the importance of being social)
Competing in robotics today on campus, the same day as a football game, highlighted the importance put on sports. Thousands of people are converging on a huge stadium where teams will compete in a sport that has been known to cause traumatic brain injury. There are cookouts going on in the parking lot with the equivalent of a large party.
