Our speaker today was a cyber security expert….
At a DAR meeting today we had a speaker on cyber security. He really was talking about scams that prey on older adults. He spoke to the don’t click on links in emails, don’t give money or information to people you meet online, and some other basics. During his speech though he implied everyone’s information is already stolen and is on the dark web.
To me that came off as scare tactics, additionally he implied that an email offering something like Lifelock because of a security breach must be a scam. I do know of…
